Cori Bargmann, PhD of Rockefeller University has "quietly become one of the nation's most respected neuroscientists." In 2012 she received the Breakthrough Prize, established by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Google founder Sergey Brin which at $3 million is twice what the Noble Prize is. And now she can add co-head of President Obama's $100 million BRAIN initiative to her long list of accomplishments and leadership roles.
