RFS Advisory Board Member Pardis C. Sabeti, MD, PhD Wins 2014 Vilcek Prize

The 2014 Vilcek Prize for Creative Promise in Biomedical Science was awarded to Rosalind Franklin Society Advisory Board member, Pardis C. Sabeti, MD, PhD, an associate professor at Harvard University. Dr. Sabeti is a computational geneticist with expertise in studying genetic diversity, developing algorithms to detect genetic signatures of natural selection, and carrying out genetic association studies. As a Vilcek Prize winner, Dr. Sabeti received $100,000 and a trophy designed by Stefan Sagmeister at an award ceremony held in New York City on April 3. RFS founder, Mary Ann Liebert was on hand to celebrate.
